Disposable lens filters ensure hygienic use without having to clean or disinfect the sensor and virtually eliminate cross contamination. What’s more, fitting a new Braun lens filter each time ensures that dirt or ear wax don’t build up and clog the sensor window, which could lead to inaccurate temperature readings. New Braun certified disposable lens filters are also BPA (bisphenol A) free and latex free for safer use and improved safety. USE ONLY BRAUN CERTIFIED LENS FILTERS FOR ACCURATE READINGS. Braun ThermoScan lens filters is for use with Braun ThermoScan thermometer only. To ensure accuracy and sanitary practice, change lens filter after each use. Steps to use the lens filter: Step 1: Place a new lens cover on the thermometer tip before each measurement. Step 2: Measure temperature with lens cover fitted on thermometer tip.
