General Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 7 October 2026
These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to challenges, campaigns, activities and similar programmes (“Challenges”) made available through the HTM DRMS application (“HTM DRMS” or “App”) and organised or administered by HTM Pharmacy (“HTM”).
Each Challenge may also have its own rules, eligibility requirements, duration, targets, rewards and other conditions (“Challenge-Specific Terms”), which will be displayed in the App or otherwise communicated by HTM.
By selecting “Join Challenge”, “Participate”, or any equivalent option in HTM DRMS, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and the applicable Challenge-Specific Terms.
1. Eligibility & Participation
1.1 Participation in a Challenge is voluntary.
1.2 Participants must have a valid HTM DRMS account and join the relevant Challenge through the App unless otherwise specified.
1.3 Individual Challenges may have additional eligibility requirements, including age, membership status, geographical location, participating outlet, device compatibility or other criteria. These requirements will be stated in the applicable Challenge-Specific Terms.
1.4 Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with their HTM DRMS account is accurate and up to date.
1.5 Unless otherwise stated, participation is limited to one participation per eligible HTM DRMS account for each Challenge.
1.6 HTM may refuse or cancel participation where a participant does not meet the applicable eligibility requirements or breaches these Terms or the Challenge-Specific Terms.
2. Challenge-Specific Terms
2.1 Each Challenge may specify its own:
- commencement and end dates;
- participation or registration period;
- targets or completion requirements;
- qualifying activities;
- tracking or data requirements;
- rewards and reward limits;
- redemption or validity periods; and
- other specific conditions.
2.2 Participants should review the Challenge details before joining.
2.3 Where there is a conflict between these General Terms & Conditions and the Challenge-Specific Terms, the Challenge-Specific Terms will apply to that particular Challenge to the extent of the conflict.
3. Health, Fitness & Activity Data
3.1 Certain Challenges may require information relating to physical activity, wellness or other supported health-related measurements in order to track progress or determine completion.
3.2 Where required for a Challenge, the participant may be asked to allow HTM DRMS permission to access and retrieve specific data categories required for that Challenge, such as step-count or activity data, from a compatible platform or service on the participant's device.
This may include Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect or other compatible services, depending on the participant's device, operating system and App functionality.
3.3 HTM DRMS will only request or access data categories authorised by the participant and required for the relevant App functionality or Challenge.
Joining a Challenge does not constitute permission for HTM to access all information contained within the participant's health platform, device or health records.
3.4 Participants remain in control of the permissions provided through their device and applicable health platform and may manage or revoke those permissions through the relevant settings.
3.5 If a participant does not grant, or subsequently revokes, a permission required for a particular Challenge, HTM DRMS may be unable to track the relevant activity or verify Challenge completion. This may affect the participant's eligibility to complete the Challenge or receive a reward.
4. Data Synchronisation & Participant Responsibility
4.1 For Challenges involving automatic tracking, participants are responsible for ensuring that:
- the required permissions are enabled;
- the relevant tracking functionality is enabled;
- their device and/or wearable is functioning properly;
- the relevant health or activity service is properly connected;
- HTM DRMS has the necessary permissions;
- internet connectivity is available where required; and
- relevant information is successfully synchronised with HTM DRMS.
4.2 Participants are encouraged to open HTM DRMS regularly during an active Challenge and check that their Challenge progress has been updated correctly.
4.3 Only eligible activity or information successfully received and recognised by HTM DRMS may be counted towards Challenge progress.
4.4 Information displayed in HTM DRMS may be subject to reasonable synchronisation or processing delays.
4.5 HTM is not responsible for missing, delayed or inaccurate records resulting from circumstances outside HTM's reasonable control, including device malfunction, disabled permissions, connectivity issues, third-party service interruptions, wearable-device issues, operating-system restrictions, battery-saving settings or synchronisation failures.
5. Challenge Completion
5.1 Participants must satisfy the requirements stated for the applicable Challenge within the specified Challenge period.
5.2 Activities completed before or after the applicable Challenge period may not qualify unless otherwise stated.
5.3 HTM DRMS system records and other relevant records reasonably available to HTM will be used to verify Challenge progress and completion.
5.4 Participants should check their progress before the Challenge ends and report suspected technical issues as soon as reasonably possible.
5.5 HTM may review and correct Challenge records where a genuine technical or system error has occurred.
6. Rewards
6.1 Some Challenges may offer rewards for successful completion. Rewards, eligibility requirements and any applicable limits will be stated in the Challenge-Specific Terms.
6.2 Rewards may include digital vouchers, HTM Cash Vouchers, points, benefits, gifts, promotional items or other incentives.
6.3 Unless otherwise stated, each eligible participant may receive a maximum of one reward for completing a particular Challenge.
6.4 Rewards may require verification before issuance and may not be credited immediately after Challenge completion.
6.5 Digital rewards may be credited directly to the participant's eligible HTM/DRMS account.
6.6 Rewards may have their own validity periods, redemption requirements, exclusions and other conditions. Participants are responsible for using rewards before their stated expiry dates.
6.7 Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, rewards:
- are not exchangeable for cash;
- cannot be resold;
- cannot be transferred between accounts;
- cannot be replaced after expiry; and
- are subject to availability where physical rewards are involved.
7. Fair Participation & Misuse
7.1 Participants must participate fairly and genuinely.
7.2 Participants must not manipulate, fabricate or artificially generate information used to determine Challenge progress or completion.
7.3 Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- artificially generating activity or step counts;
- manipulating device or health-platform information;
- using scripts, software or unauthorised applications to falsify activity;
- submitting fabricated information;
- exploiting technical errors or vulnerabilities;
- creating or using multiple accounts to obtain additional rewards where not permitted; or
- otherwise attempting to circumvent Challenge requirements.
7.4 HTM may review unusual, abnormal, duplicated or potentially manipulated Challenge activity.
7.5 Where HTM has reasonable grounds to believe that misuse, fraud, manipulation or a breach of these Terms has occurred, HTM may withhold or cancel a reward, correct Challenge records or disqualify the participant.
7.6 HTM may request reasonable additional information where necessary to investigate suspected misuse, resolve a technical issue or verify eligibility.
8. Privacy & Personal Data
8.1 HTM respects participants' privacy and will process personal data associated with Challenges in accordance with HTM's applicable privacy practices, the HTM DRMS Privacy Policy and applicable Malaysian personal-data protection requirements.
8.2 Depending on the Challenge, information processed may include:
- HTM DRMS account information;
- Challenge registration and participation information;
- eligible activity or measurement data;
- Challenge progress;
- completion status;
- reward information;
- relevant device or App technical information; and
- information reasonably required for troubleshooting, security or fraud prevention.
8.3 HTM will only process information reasonably required for legitimate purposes connected with the Challenge, App functionality, administration, security or other purposes described in the applicable privacy notice.
8.4 Where a Challenge requires access to information from Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect or another compatible platform, HTM DRMS will only access the data categories authorised by the participant and required for the relevant functionality.
8.5 Permission to access one category of information does not automatically grant HTM access to other information stored on the participant's device or health platform.
8.6 Challenge-related information may be used as reasonably necessary to:
- administer participation;
- calculate and display progress;
- determine Challenge completion;
- verify eligibility;
- administer rewards;
- provide relevant App functionality;
- investigate synchronisation or technical issues;
- prevent or investigate fraud or misuse;
- maintain security; and
- comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
8.7 HTM will not sell participants' personal data to third parties.
8.8 Where reasonably necessary, information may be processed by authorised service providers that support HTM DRMS, hosting, infrastructure, data processing, security, Challenge administration or related services, subject to appropriate contractual, privacy and security requirements.
8.9 Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and as required for operational, security, dispute-resolution, legal or regulatory purposes.
8.10 HTM will take reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data under its control against unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, loss or destruction.
8.11 Participants may exercise applicable rights relating to their personal data in accordance with HTM's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9. Health & Safety
9.1 Health, fitness, walking, exercise or wellness Challenges are intended to encourage general wellness and healthy activities. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
9.2 Participants are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for their individual circumstances and physical condition.
9.3 Participants should not overexert themselves solely to achieve a Challenge target.
9.4 Participants who have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from illness or injury, or have concerns about participating should consider obtaining appropriate professional medical advice before participating.
9.5 Participants should stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if they experience concerning symptoms such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting or severe dizziness.
9.6 Participants are responsible for exercising in a safe environment and should observe applicable traffic rules, weather conditions, environmental conditions and other safety considerations.
10. Third-Party Platforms & Devices
10.1 Certain HTM DRMS functions may depend on third-party devices, platforms, operating systems or services, including Apple Health/HealthKit, Health Connect and compatible wearable devices.
10.2 These third-party services are operated independently of HTM and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, technical requirements and availability.
10.3 HTM does not control and cannot guarantee the continuous availability, accuracy or operation of third-party platforms and services.
11. Technical Issues & App Availability
11.1 HTM will make reasonable efforts to maintain the proper operation of HTM DRMS and its Challenge functions but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11.2 Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, software updates, network problems, third-party services, security measures or circumstances outside HTM's reasonable control.
11.3 Participants who experience a technical problem affecting an active Challenge should report the issue to HTM as soon as reasonably possible and provide sufficient information to allow the issue to be investigated.
11.4 Where reasonably appropriate and technically possible, HTM may review relevant system records when investigating reported technical issues.
12. Modification, Suspension or Cancellation
12.1 HTM reserves the right to reasonably amend, postpone, suspend or cancel a Challenge where necessary because of technical, operational, security, legal, regulatory or other circumstances.
12.2 Where practicable, material changes affecting an ongoing Challenge will be communicated through HTM DRMS or another appropriate HTM communication channel.
12.3 HTM may also amend these General Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest applicable version will be made available through HTM DRMS or another appropriate channel.
12.4 Changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law, and where appropriate participants may be asked to review or accept updated terms before participating in subsequent Challenges.
13. Disputes & Verification
13.1 If there is a dispute concerning eligibility, Challenge progress, completion or reward issuance, HTM may review the relevant system records and other reasonably available information.
13.2 HTM will consider genuine technical issues and relevant supporting information before determining the outcome of a dispute.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Malaysian law.
14. General
14.1 These Terms should be read together with:
- the applicable Challenge-Specific Terms;
- the HTM DRMS Privacy Policy;
- applicable HTM DRMS terms of use; and
- any specific conditions attached to a reward or voucher.
14.2 If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
14.3 A failure by HTM to immediately enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
14.4 These Terms and the relevant Challenge-Specific Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Participant Acknowledgement
By selecting “Join Challenge”, “Participate”, or an equivalent option, the participant confirms that they have read and understood these General Terms & Conditions and the applicable Challenge-Specific Terms and agree to participate in accordance with them.
Where a Challenge requires access to activity or other supported data from the participant's device or a connected health platform, the participant will be asked to provide the relevant permissions separately through the applicable device, platform or App permission controls. Participation in a Challenge does not, by itself, grant HTM unrestricted access to the participant's health information.
